Rate Cards
Definition
A file containing the details of rates for different options regarding ad placement.
Information
Despite a rate card listing charges for ads, it would be wrong to say that it contains inflexible price details. The rate card serves as a PR document in many ways as websites try to place their starting rate of CPM in parallel with that of a site offering similar services.
Presently, the rates listed on a rate card are rarely the final charges as negotiations take place to reduce prices. Price flexibility is directly linked with the supply and demand chain when it comes to a particular audience.
