Add URL
Definition:
A URL is provided to the search engine to let the search engine be conscious of a certain site or page.
Information:
It consists of providing the URL of the specified site or page to the search engine. Often, search engines require supplementary data such as name or email address.
Every search engine has different policies for providing URLs. Several search engines just ask for the site’s key URL as the leftovers will be eventually spidered, whereas other search engines need the provision of many distinct pages. There are also differences concerning how frequently the URLs will be supplemented. It happens because several search engines refuse many submissions at a time to reduce spam.
Manual or automatic means can also be utilized to approve sites or pages. Manual acquisition refers to filing forms singularly by visiting all the “Add URL” sites or pages. However, the automatic means require submitting the data once while the requisite data is eventually filled through a software program to provide them to multiple search engines.
One of the shared communal mistakes includes puzzling search engine submission with search engine optimization. Submission does not enhance pages, nor does it accomplish greater ranks although, submission of inefficient pages may do more damage.
