Blog(s)
Definition:
The blog represents a regularly-updated collection of an individual’s sentiments and net linkages.
Information:
Web-blogs or, simply, blogs began as a hybrid of the events of an individual’s life in combination with the events happening on the internet.
‘Blog’ signifies the short form of ‘weblogs’. The lengthy form ‘weblog’ was confusing (as it also refers to a server’s log files). It is also not catchy and appealing as a ‘blog.’ Individuals wrote blogs even when the name for it did not exist. However, the term shot to fame as automatic publication platforms became more famous, primarily, Blogger at blogger.com. The latter made it easier in terms of arranging the format and organization of the profile. Now that millions of users engage on platforms like WordPress, people have witnessed enhancement in their functioning, helped by a multitude of designers and web-developers.
Although it started out with humble beginnings, blogging is now seen as a famous avenue for organizations. It includes companies attempting to give out a positive image to freelancers aiming to make some bucks on the internet. However, competition has become tough over time. That shouldn’t disappoint anyone, though, as with higher competition, the rewards are also bigger for bloggers who stand out.
